Default Is the survey a joke?

The survey must be a joke of some kind? It claims you win prizes if picked and all of that. However, they never asked for a way to contact you, no email, no name, nothing. There is nothing identifying who you are except for and ip address. Which doesn't count ..

so ... Is this survey where you can supposily win things, a joke?

On a side note, they have the following text:

Before you submit your entry information, please help us by answering these optional questions. Please use the Decline to answer this question button to decline any questions.

When you hit "submit" after answering the optional questions, it is suppose to ask you for your entry information ... it never does, it just thanks you for submitting the optional answers and thats it .... ouch.

Tannim is talking about the Return to Tyria Sweepstakes: http://www.guildwars.com/sweepstakes/default.php

After clicking submit, it should give the option to fill out your personal information. It worked the first time for me and again just now.

Have you not been reading the threads in Riverside?
There's a reason (mostly the laws of the places excluded) that they don't include certain places and Europe just got their own version of the contest.

He never said anything about return to tyria. I'm thinking it's one of those random pop ups you get where it says, "you could be a winner", or "you are a winner", click here to claim prize". Then it takes you to do more and more things until you get tired of it. Those things are just scams and they're probably planting trojans with each new site you go to.

I think he'd be able to tell if it was something like a pop up. If not then...
And why would they let you opt out of answering questions? Last I checked they wanted as much info as possible.
He said after submitting or opting out (which ever he did) that was it. They didn't take him anywhere else. Just a thank you.
